Healthy Heart

The function of the heart is to pump blood and circulate throughout all organs of the body. Pumping blood through the lungs removes carbon dioxide and refreshes the blood with oxygen. Your heart will beat an average of 100,000 times per day. In that time, it pumps more than 4,300 gallons of blood throughout your entire body.


The heart is made of 4 chambers. The top 2 collecting chambers are called atria; the bottom 2 ejecting chambers are called ventricles. The right atrium receives blood deficient in oxygen from the body and sends it into the right ventricle. The right ventricle squeezes the blood out to the lungs to pick up fresh oxygen. The oxygenated blood returns from the lungs to the left atrium, which then funnels the blood into the left ventricle. The left ventricle ejects the oxygenated blood into the entire body via the aorta.

Tips for Healthy Heart:
Keep Heart Healthy n Happy!
*Prefer to eat
hight water content foods
1. Physical activity, exercise 30 to 60 minutes daily. 
 At least 30 minutes of Brisk walk every single day MUST.

2. Eat a healthy organic diet. 
Finish your dinner much early before the sunset. 
Have intermittent fasting daily 15 hours gap between dinner and breakfast
For breakfast have fresh organic RAW fruits and soaked nuts on empty stomach.

3. Drink enough amount of alkaline warm water daily 
sip by sip by sitting, not standing.
(Tips: Avoid drinking water after the meals at least for 1-2 hours, otherwise the hydrochloric acids in the stomach which are supposed to digest the food, get diluted and lead to digestive, constipation, and other problems. Also, it leads to a bad foul smell in the stomach, builds cholesterol, blockages in the arteries and this may lead to heart attack). 

4. Relax from stress. 
Relax from past sadness. 
Relax from fear of the future. 
Stay in the Present. 
Always keep yourself Happy. 
Stay away from radiation and cell phone towers.
Listen to music, Enjoy the present moment, Play, Meditate, Chant, Sing, and Laugh
When you do prayers with a feeling of ONEness (non-duality) with nature, gives us immense strength and peace in mind.  
For your own good health, forgive yourself and others. 
Follow hooponopono prayer: "I am sorry, please forgive me, thank you, and I love you".


5. Keep heart always healthy and happy. Listen to jokes, smile, watch comedy films, Laugh Out Loudly.

* MINIMIZE negative news.
* MAXIMIZE positive news

If possible try to watch only positive stories, positive news, humanity news, any universal happy good news.


6. Love unconditionally.
Serving all with good intention brings immense happiness to the heart.
Compete with self, not with others. 
Focus on self. 
Try to become better and better.
Develop an attitude to excel and deliver the best. 
Don't involve in gossips, don't waste time with nay-sayers. 
Listen to your beliefs, introspect.

7. Have a good night's sound sleep at least 7 - 8 hours a day.

5 thumb rules for a layman to take care of his heart:
 1. Diet - Less carbohydrate, more veg protein (no meat), and less oil
 2. Exercise - Half an hour walk, at least five days a week; Avoid elevators, and avoid sitting for a long time
 3. Quit smoking
 4. Control weight
 5. Control BP - Blood pressure and Sugar (SAY NO TO SUGAR AND SALT).

*Simply by eating high water content foods, 50% of heart diseases/ heart attacks will reduce.

3. *Nuts (soaked Almonds, Walnuts..)

To benefit from these oils just drizzle them very little over the salads or on top of cooked vegetable dishes. *Remember Olive and Flax oils are not meant to heat or frying.

The Butterfly Effect

This interesting documentary video on "the butterfly effect" will change our life as well as the world in peace.

The butterfly effect is an idea that is more commonly used in chaos theory. A small change can bring more bigger changes to happen. One small bad incident can have a bigger impact on the future for example it can cause typhoons, floods, acid rains, earthquakes, deadly viruses... The term butterfly effect comes from an analogy where a butterfly flaps its wings in Wuhan and can cause a tornado in Western Europe, or vice-versa, or anywhere in the world.

The power of a single wish...after all invisible and inevitable, like a butterfly that beats its wings in one corner of the globe and with that single action changes the weather halfway across the world. A small positive vibration can change the entire cosmosI am a firm believer in the butterfly effect. 

The butterfly effect can be used every moment – being aware of what we do and knowing the potential consequences of those deeds and karma. The smallest humanity step taken forward can change the course of life completely. An act of kindness allows for another linking all of us in unimaginable ways.

Leucoderma-Vitiligo ~ Ayurvedic Remedy

A condition in which the pigment is lost from areas of the skin, causing whitish patches, often with no clear cause. Vitiligo occurs when pigment-producing cells (melanocytes) die or stop producing melanin ... the pigment that gives your skin, hair, and eyes color. The involved patches of skin become lighter or white. It's unclear exactly what causes these pigment cells to fail.

Ego

One of the biggest reasons why egoism is your enemy is that it keeps you out of touch with reality. Your egoism is what prevents you from hearing the true feedback from others. Egoism makes you overestimate your own abilities and worth, and under-estimate the effort and skill required to achieve your goals

Self-Purification should be the prime focus

Many of us focus only on "I" or full of Self-Importance which eventually gets in trouble that our  super-EGO which not only spoils our relationships, but breaks the families, and friendship. Remember the baseless arguments stop our focus, personal growth, and success.

One has to be wise, thorough gentlemen or gentlewomen keeping the ego away.

Some of the practical Tips in lowering our bad EGOism, to stay healthy and human:

*Do not judge the people. Simply accept as they are.
*Don't hurt others, don't show superiority, instead be a helpful leader. Be a good human in guiding self as well as others to the righteous path of (dharma, truthfulness).
*Everyones view, perceptions are at different level of understanding...as they may not be aware of everything, so do not discard them.
*Practice Empathy and Simplicity. (Treat others how you want to be treated. Don't become the victim of EGOism. Be nice to self and to others)
*Take deep breaths whenever you feel like getting anger or ego entering into you. just BREATH.
*Breath controls the mind --> and mind controls the body. Maintain always good breathing.
*Increase the level of consciousness by doing more Yoga, Reiki, and Meditation.

*Never permit Jealousy to encroach into your relationship with others for it defeats the very purpose for which the relationship is intended. Jealousy is just like a shadow of your character. It always represents negative attitudes. Remember at least the shadow has dimensions. But Jealousy does not have any dimension. Remember, it destroys your happiness and peace and then the happiness of others.

*Never entertain Anger. It destroys your peace of mind, creates insanity, annihilates the fine fiber of your character, and oscillates your line of justice.

*Never give way to persuasion. Because under the pressure of persuasion, even the worst sins can be justified.

*Always temper your Authority with Love, Affection, and Mercy. In the absence of these, any Authority is a tyranny.

Breathing Helps:
  • If you feel overwhelmed, breathe. It will calm you and release the tensions.
  • If you are worried about something coming up or caught up in something that already happened, just take deep breathe. It will bring you back to the present.
  • Take a deep breath 10 times inhale, exhale only from left nostril by closing your right nostril.. and within a minute you will come out of anger and anxiety.
  • When you return to your anxieties, ego, and fears … these emerge from the mind unbidden, just as all your thoughts do. They are temporary conditions, like clouds passing. They aren't of any consequence if you just notice them, acknowledge them, let them move on.
  • You return to the breath, and the anxieties are forgotten for a second as you see the breath. When the self and its fears, and desires and anxieties and urges return, then you go back to the breath and they are gone.
  • If you are moving too fast, breathe. It will remind you to slow down and enjoy life more.
  • Breathe, and enjoy each moment of this life

Simple and Effective home remedies (Yoga, Steam, and Ayurveda) to be practiced to increase the Immunity  in protecting self from COVID-19

Must-do daily activities:

Wear your mask!

*Morning Yoga Before Breakfast*
Try to get some fresh air early in the mornings, and SUN light.

BREATHING Exercises for improving lungs, oxygen levels:
  • Bhastrika 5 minutes   (breathing inhale/exhale thru nose --> start slowly to intense) ---> this makes your respiratory lungs stronger
  • Anulom-Vilom 5 minutes   (inhale thru left nostril, exhale thru right... vice-versa)

  • Proning related yoga asanas
  • Jal Neti/ Nasal cleansing (Only if you know it)

*Walk for 30 minutes in the morning gardens.
*For breakfast: Take seasonal organic fresh fruits naturally grown locally, wash it nicely. 
*NO cooked food.
*Take Ashwagandha with warm water, add jaggery for taste, to build the immune.
*Be spiritual. 
*Live simple life. Simplicity is happiness. Enjoy every little things in life.

*When the stomach is empty, Do YOGA Pranayamas Anulom Vilom (5 mts), Kapalbhat (5 minutes), Sheetali pranayama (5 minutes)

1st)

2nd)
Boil the water with ingredients (Turmeric powder + Black Pepper + Cloves + Lemon + Ginger) for 5 minutes; and leave it aside to warmness. Add some organic jaggery for sweetness, and then drink the decoction on empty stomach twice in the AM and PM.

3rd)
2 Spoon of Jeera (cumin)
2 Spoon of Dhaniya (coriander)
5 Cloves
1 Small Cinnamon-stick
1/4 spoon of Turmeric
1 small piece of Ginger
Grind these together slightly


Boil in 1 liter of water for 10 minutes
Take sips throughout the day
Reheat for 1 minute if needed


Eucalyptus or Ajwain
Steam Inhalation
2 - 3 times a day

*Evening Yoga Before Dinner
Bhastrika 5 minutes
Anulom-Vilom 5 minutes
Kapalbhati 5 minutes

*Take steam inhalation daily with Eucalyptus Oil or AJWAIN (carom seeds)
*For dinner eat lightly cooked (stir) food, millets with veggies only, and finish it up by 7pm (before sunset).

a) Do not take any cold food or cold beverages, strictly avoid them, 
b) Do not eat fruits at late night (if still want to, try to eat when on empty stomach).. It is recommended to eat fruits in the morning on empty stomach for better health results
c) Do not drink water immediately after the meals, give a gap of minimum 2 to 3 hours.)

  • Wear smaller clothes, and lighter material clothes like Shorts, T-shirts, Tracks.
  • Have a light dinner, finish it by 7 pm (before sunset). 
  • Go for INTERMITTENT (15 hours) fasting for holistic health.

Healthy Hair

Choose the ones which is available, and works for you:
  1. To strengthen and darken the hair. Follow the oil preparation: Lightly boil 100ml of  pure Coconut oil along with Amla Fruit + Curry Leaves + Mandara/Hibiscus Leaves and its flowers + Bhringraj/ Eclipta leaves + Amarbel. Then switch off the gas, cool it off, filter it. Use the oil to massage your hair scalp, leave overnight and next day morning wash it off with herbal shampoo. This prevents hair fall as well stops premature graying hair.
  2. Apply Aloe Vera gel into the scalp for hair growth, as it moisturizes the scalp and reduces the dandruff. You can also apply the Aloe Vera paste + Coconut milk to the scalp for hair growth.
  3. Apply Onion & Garlic juice (mix Olive Oil + Vitamin E gel + 2 tsp of honey) to the bald head regularly. It promotes the hair growth on bald area. To take away the odor, you can add rose water, lavender or rosemary essentials oil to the onion & garlic mixture. Apply the mixture to the bald scalp, keep it for overnight or for an 1 hour and wash off. (Note: Studies have found onions & garlic to be useful for treating hair loss. Plus, onions can help control issues like dandruff and scalp infections as well as reverse premature graying.).
  4. For simple procedure apply to the scalp once a week the mixture of (Coconut oil + Sesame oil + Almond oil + Castor oil) for hair growth. All these organic oils are good for hair. *Mustard oil also strengthens the hair when applied to the scalp.
  5. Yogurt: Apply slightly aged homemade Yogurt to the hair scalp for an hour and wash it off with Shikakai shampoo.
  6. Amla (India goose berry): Amla is rich in iron and has antioxidants which reduce hair loss by not allowing free radicals to damage hair follicles. Amla also enhances hair growth and prevents premature graying. Eating fresh amla or applying its paste to the roots of your hair improves both growth and color.
  7. Fenugreek, or methi, is considered good for hair growth as it is rich in protein. Plus, it contains lecithin that strengthens and moisturizes your hair.
    1. Soak a cup of fenugreek seeds in water overnight, or for at least four hours.
    2. Take them out of the water and grind them into a paste.
    3. Apply coconut oil on your hair, followed by the paste. Let it sit for at least an hour before rinsing it out and shampooing your hair.
    4. Repeat the process two or three times a week. 
  8. Use herbal shampoos (amla + shikakai + lemon) for healthy hair.
  9. Fingernails Rubbing: Rubbing your fingernails briskly against each other, for about 10 minutes every day, stimulates hair growth and makes your hair healthy and strong. This is an ancient technique and works similar to reflexology - through energy channels. The positive results are supported by many anecdotal claims, and there are many proponents and followers of this ancient practice. Some have even claimed hair re-growth on bald areas.

Mix coconut and olive oils and apply it gently from root to tip of your hair. After that, keep your hair covered with a shower cap. Leave it for more than an hour. Then, rinse it off with a mild herbal shampoo and use conditioner.
  2. Banana cream mask: Banana is a natural ingredient which makes hair strong by preventing damaged roots. Blend one over ripe banana in a grinder. Then add one tablespoon of honey to it. Apply it on your hair, especially the roots. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
  3. Oatmeal hair mask: It is best suited for those who suffer from oily scalp, dandruff, scalp irritation and inflammation. It nourishes oily scalp by eliminating excessive oil. It results in hair growth by treating dandruff and protecting hair follicles. Mix oatmeal, fresh milk and almond oil and make a paste. Ensure that your hair is free from tangles before applying the pack. Put it gently on your hair. Leave it for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water.
  4. Hibiscus hair mask: It is the solution for weak roots as hibiscus is known to strengthen weak roots. Soak hibiscus petals overnight in a cup of water. Then blend it with olive oil and raw milk. Apply this pack on hair. Keep the hair mask for 20 to 25 minutes and then rinse it with water.
  5. Apple Cider Vinegar: Add 1/4 cup of water to 1/4 cup of organic apple cider vinegar, apply it onto your scalp. Wrap around a towel and let it sit about 20 minutes. Wash off and repeat twice a week for best results.  Apple Cider Vinegar has properties that balance your scalp and hair pH level. Its anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties help combating scalp infections, dryness, itchiness and dandruff. An after shampoo apple cider vinegar rinse can do wonders to your hair, retaining the pH level of your scalp and leaving you with soft, shiny and smooth hair.
