The Rs. 5 mid-day meal scheme launched by the GHMC is getting overwhelming response from the people, served between 12 noon and 1 p.m. at Nampally Sarai (Front of Nampally Railway Station), with eight centers currently being operated across the Hyderabad city, the number of people getting meals at these centers has increased a lot. Gudimalkapur, Mehdipatnam, Koti, Sanathnagar, LB Nagar, Nampally, Secunderabad Clock Tower and Charminar centers function from 12 noon to 2 pm.
